Welcome to the Board of Sports Management Council at Alpha Technical University. Our council is dedicated to promoting and enhancing athletic and recreational activities across our campus, fostering a vibrant and active student community. We oversee the development and management of sports programs, facilities, and events, ensuring that students have ample opportunities to engage in physical fitness, competitive sports, and recreational activities. By prioritizing both individual wellness and team dynamics, we aim to cultivate a culture of health, teamwork, and school spirit.

Our mission is to support and elevate the role of sports within the academic environment, recognizing its significant impact on student life and overall well-being. We work closely with student-athletes, coaches, and recreational staff to create inclusive and dynamic sports initiatives that cater to diverse interests and skill levels. The Board of Sports Management Council is committed to providing high-quality facilities, fostering athletic excellence, and encouraging active participation, all while enhancing the university’s reputation as a hub for student engagement and sportsmanship.

The Board of Board of Sports management Council shall consist of the following members, namely:-

1.   Chairperson: Oversees the strategic direction and overall management of the council, ensuring alignment with the university's goals and objectives for sports and recreation.
2.   Vice-Chairperson: Assists the Chairperson and takes on leadership responsibilities in their absence, focusing on specific initiatives and coordinating with other council members.
3.   Director of Athletics: Manages the university’s athletic programs, facilities, and events, providing expertise on sports operations and development.
4.   Recreation Coordinator: Focuses on recreational activities and wellness programs, promoting inclusive and engaging opportunities for all students.
5.   Student-Athlete Representative: Represents the interests and perspectives of student-athletes, ensuring their needs and feedback are considered in decision-making.
6.   Faculty Representative: Provides input on integrating sports and recreation with academic programs and supports faculty involvement in sports initiatives.
7.   Health and Wellness Advisor: Offers expertise on physical health, injury prevention, and wellness initiatives to support the well-being of athletes and participants.
